Job summary

S.C. Swiderski (SCS) is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead the design and review of civil plans for single- and multi-family development across Wisconsin. You will ensure plans meet company standards and local codes while supporting sustainable community goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating with consultants and municipal staff, submitting permits, and drafting plans at multiple stages for approvals and construction. A Wisconsin PE and 3–5 years in residential development are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and Wisconsin PE license.
• 3–5 years of civil engineering experience in residential land development.
• Experience submitting regulatory permits (NOI, DSPS, DNR, DOT, County).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and site analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and review of civil plans (grading, drainage, utilities, transportation).
• Coordinate with consultants, surveyors, municipal staff, and internal teams.
• Review deliverables for accuracy and code compliance; prepare permits and approvals.
• Draft civil design plans at 30%, 60%, 90%, and final stages for approvals and construction use.
