Pasco County seeks a Project Coordinator II - Housing to manage and coordinate housing programs, focusing on Down Payment Assistance (DPA) and related initiatives. You’ll ensure compliance with HUD, HOME, NSP, and SHIP requirements, guiding applicants through eligibility and onboarding.
Responsibilities include processing income verifications, preparing financial documents, reviewing HUD-1 forms, and coordinating with county offices and lenders to meet tight deadlines.
The Project Coordinator II plays a vital role in coordinating, managing, and carrying out the processes required to deliver multiple Department programs to eligible applicants — with particular emphasis on Down Payment Assistance (DPA) and other housing-related initiatives. This position ensures that all program activities align with federal and state grant requirements, including but not limited to:
Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, or squat frequently. Physical ability to work out-of-doors for long periods of time. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual communication. Ability to work extended hours during emergency response and recovery conditions.
Associate degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of project coordination and office administrative duties experience OR graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma and four (4) years' project coordination and office administrative duties experience. Minimum of one (1) year secretarial/clerical and typing experience preferred. Proficiency in software and web-based applications to include: Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and department loan servicing software.
This position qualifies for DAP.
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
