Pasco County, FL is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Office of Economic Growth. Responsibilities include project and program management, contract compliance, budget analysis, and program administration for various funding initiatives.
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of small business lending, credit and underwriting concepts, and the ability to develop relationships with local stakeholders. A Florida driver’s license is required.
The Program Coordinator is a non-managerial position which is responsible for a range of professional and technical duties in support of the Office of Economic Growth (OEG). The responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to, project and program management, contract review and compliance tracking, financial and budget analysis, and other duties related to the administration of the programs and committees established by and coordinated through the OEG. The successful applicant is required to be familiar with principles surrounding small business lending, credit and underwriting, commercial redevelopment, and show initiative to research and learn new concepts related to these principles.
PHYSICAL SKILLS:Ability to communicate effectively using written, verbal, and graphic mediums.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field and Two (2) years of project management, contract compliance, business development, marketing, or related experience.Two (2) years of experience in small business lending preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
