Job summary

Pasco County, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator II - Housing to manage intake for Down Payment Assistance and other housing programs, ensuring eligibility and onboarding in line with HUD and state requirements.

You will coordinate with county offices, lenders, and external partners to assemble required financial documents, verify income, and support closings while safeguarding confidential information. This role demands strong communication and detailed analysis.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of project coordination and office administrative duties experience.
• Or graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma and four (4) years' project coordination and office administrative duties experience.
• Proficiency in software and web-based applications to include: Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and department loan servicing software.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the intake processor and point of contact for all countywide Down Payment Assistance (DPA) program applicants.
• Applies HUD, State, and local DPA income-eligibility criteria by collecting and verifying records.
• Prepares and reviews financial documents for DPA including closing disclosures and mortgage documents.
• Verifies HUD 1 forms and documents provided by outside mortgage originators.
• Handles confidential information and maintains required file procedures.
• Maintains relationships with County Attorneys' Office, Clerk's Office, Tax Collector's Office, and lenders.
• Verifies documentation and requests program-related payments through County Fiscal and Finance.
• Assists in completion of Local Housing Assistance Plan, Consolidated Plans, and Action plans.
