Job summary

LINX, a hyperscale data center construction contractor, seeks a Project Coordinator to manage payroll support, onboarding, travel coordination, and field logistics from a job-site trailer in El Paso. You will act as the connective tissue between the Operations Manager, Project Managers, and the field, keeping procurement, safety coordination, and HR support moving smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Submit expense reports, process per diem, approve fuel invoices, and manage temp time entry in coordination with payroll.
• Support project setup, execution, billing, and tracking; coordinate meetings; manage project information flow.
• Assist with onboarding, including I-9, enrollment setup, orientations, and HR coordination; track time-off and leaves.
• Process travel bookings (flight, hotel) and assist employees with travel-related needs; track vehicle maintenance and inspections.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $28.00 Annually

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00/hour

LINX is hiring a Project Coordinator to keep the administrative and logistics side of a hyperscale data center construction job site running, paying $20.00 to $28.00 an hour. You'll work out of the job-site trailer, not a corporate office, handling everything from payroll and expense processing to new-hire onboarding and travel coordination for the crew.

This is the connective-tissue role between the Operations Manager, Project Managers, and the field, keeping procurement, compliance, safety coordination, and HR support moving so the crew can stay focused on the work.

What You'll Be Doing

Financial & Payroll Support

• Submit expense reports, process per diem and check requests, approve fuel invoices, and manage temp time entry in coordination with corporate payroll

Project Coordination & Communication

• Support project setup, execution, billing, and tracking; coordinate internal and external meetings; and manage the flow of project information across the team
• Order office and job-site supplies, PPE, fuel, ice, and water; track and reorder consumable materials; receive, log, and transfer materials as needed

HR, Onboarding & Compliance

• Assist with new hire onboarding, including I-9 collection, LINX and ADP enrollment setup, on-site orientations, GC screenings, and coordination with corporate HR; process leave requests and maintain time-off tracking
• Apply for city and state licenses, process DCAT requests and renewals, and track expiration dates; coordinate OSHA training certifications and job site safety credentialing, and organize recurring safety meetings

Travel & Fleet Support

• Process flight, hotel, and lodging bookings and track travel arrangements; assist employees with travel-related needs and resolve issues as they arise
• Track vehicle maintenance reminders and submit vehicle inspection reports
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular strength in Excel for project tracking and reporting
• Comfortable working in a construction jobsite/trailer setting
• Experience coordinating travel and supporting field logistics
• Ability to manage document control and distribute updated files to field teams
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make sound recommendations
• Ability to assist with cost tracking and basic budget updates
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence others without direct authority
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred

• Basic working knowledge of construction project management
• Familiarity with AIA documentation and Schedule of Values support
• Experience maintaining project records, including submittals, RFIs, and logs

This Role Is Probably Not Right For You If

• You're looking for a fully remote or corporate-office admin role, this position works out of the job-site construction trailer
• You need heavy daily oversight. You'll be managing multiple priorities across the Operations Manager, Project Managers, and the field with limited direct supervision.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $28.00/hour, depending on experience
