Job summary

Talman Consultants, LLC, a WBENC and WDBE-certified utility engineering design firm in Illinois, seeks a Project Coordinator to support Project Managers in organizing, planning, and managing projects for Talman’s core design efforts.

This temporary 40-hour/week role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail. You will handle billing support, maintain project trackers, respond to emails, and provide administrative help to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supports Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with billing, invoicing, and team management initiatives.
• Updates and manages project tracker with the most current information.
• Receives and responds to email correspondence from internal and external stakeholders.
• Applies technical knowledge and understanding to keep projects on schedule to be completed.
• Provides administrative support to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
• Other duties as assigned
