We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Data Automation Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This unique position merges project management expertise with advanced data automation capabilities, aimed at optimizing our project management processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with program managers to plan, schedule, and track project activities, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Step in for program managers when necessary, representing them at coordination meetings to ensure seamless communication and progress.
- Configure and manage Jira projects, customizing issue types, workflows, and dashboards to align with milestone-driven programs.
- Develop and implement automation tools and scripts to streamline reporting and synchronize data between Jira, Oracle Primavera P6, and Oracle ERP systems.
- Automatically generate comprehensive reports consolidating schedule, cost, and resource data for program reviews and executive briefings.
- Maintain data integrity across Jira, Oracle P6, and Oracle ERP systems by implementing quality checks, validation, and reconciliation processes.
- Support the centralized PMO in the implementation of Deltek Cobra.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on project tracking tools, data workflows, and reporting methodologies.
- Provide timely project status updates and data-driven insights to cross-functional teams.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or business processes.
- CAPM or PMP certification (or equivalent project management training) is required.
- 5+ years of experience in data automation and project management within complex construction, technical, or government environments.
- Expertise in Jira for traditional project planning, task tracking, and schedule management.
- Strong proficiency with Primavera P6, including developing schedules, resource loading, and data extraction.
- Familiarity with scripting and data automation tools (e.g., Jira, MS Office, Python, SQL) for report generation and systems integration.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and program stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting training for teams on automated tools.
- A keen attention to detail, particularly in data management and documentation practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business processes, or program management is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing large-scale projects using Oracle Primavera P6.
- Familiarity with Deltek Cobra, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms is a plus.
