Job summary

Amentum in the United States seeks a Project Coordinator to support project managers across defense, energy, and civilian programs. You will help plan, schedule, and track costs, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and admin teams, interface with customers and suppliers, assist in new business opportunities, and help maintain quality and timely project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 5 years of technical project experience.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate workflows with engineering, procurement, and other groups to follow the project control plan.
• Track progress, ETCs, change requests, and client deliverables; identify issues and propose corrective actions.
• Assist with subcontract and vendor contracts and procurement activities.
• Interface with customers, internal teams, and external suppliers.
• Support development of new business opportunities and project estimates.
• Assist with quality audits and process improvements.
• Balance technical quality with cost and schedule while communicating with the client team.
• Manage small-scale projects within contractual cost and schedule limits.
• Work independently under guidance and meet deadlines.
