Job Summary
The Project Coordinator I will coordinate a team to service a group of clients, while also interacting regularly with the larger company to achieve set goals. They will collaborate with our network of print vendors to help make sure every project is quoted, shipped and delivered on time and on budget. They will maintain a relationship and understanding of our clients and their goals. The Project Coordinator I is responsible for the implementation and execution of assigned/approved projects while also maintaining client coordination and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular meetings with your team to discuss current and upcoming projects. You’re able to effectively get and give status updates from stakeholders across multiple projects.
- Translate client’s needs into actionable orders for your team and the rest of the company. You’re comfortable asking questions, defining scope, and setting realistic deadlines.
- Break down multi-channel, sustained marketing campaigns into individual deliverables, then coordinate their execution. You don’t have to set the vision, but you know how to make it reality.
- Work with staff to help understand the details of print projects – you are the person who learns what questions to ask to avoid a problem down the line.
- Work with printers to request quotes for print orders. Create and send print orders. Follow up on outstanding print orders. Close out print orders with sufficient detail and documentation to support billing.
- Help analyze campaign success and troubleshoot problems when they arise.
- Lead an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly.
- Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Act as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

Requirements
- Education and training: Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering.
- At least two years in project coordination, project management or production management, or related experience.
- Experience may be substituted for education.
- Desired Attributes
- Software skills in or willingness to learn Monday.com, Slack, Dropbox and Microsoft office Suite
- Past work and understanding of the Broadband or Electric Industry.
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a
- computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to meet basic physical demands of travel (if necessary).
Travel
- Travel may be required for this position for up to 5 % of the approximate amount of scheduled work.
Notes
- Compensation will be dependent on a variety of factors, including experience and geography, and will be discussed in the hiring process with leading candidate(s). Salary range is anticipated to be $40,000 - $48,000 per year

Holiday and PTO
- We believe that time away from work is a necessary part of a healthy lifestyle. When rested and energized, team members do better work. Pioneer provides full time staff with 12 paid holidays per year (all federal holidays plus the day after Thanksgiving), and a PTO plan that starts at an accrual rate of four weeks per year. Holiday and PTO benefits are prorated for part-time staff.
Mobile Device and Home Office Internet
- For qualifying positions, Pioneer provides up to $45/month of reimbursement for mobile phone expenses and up to $50/month of taxable stipend for home office internet expenses.
