Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator 1 to support Construction Managers and Project Managers with coordination, documentation, and equipment ordering for Install base projects in Seattle.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong ability to prioritize and multitask with strict adherence to deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and accountability.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Validate project details at kickoff to ensure accuracy in the system.
• Coordinate and follow up with Sales regarding project bookings, releases from COE or credit holds.
• Set up prevailing wage, CCIP/OCIP projects.
• Submit monthly CCIP/OCIP reporting.
• Ship and track material-only sale projects.
• Create and receive purchase orders for subcontractors and material vendors.
• Release material shipments per PM request.
• Process and track RMAs.
• Assist PMs with special billing forms and invoice credits.
• Support the Billing team with invoicing questions.
• Serve as Dispute Champion for the Install department by resolving or escalating AR disputes.
• Coordinate delivery of close‑out documentation.
• Attend weekly Work in Progress (WIP) meetings.
• Manage Accounts Payable disputes, issues, and PO-on-hold reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project and department operations.

What You Will Do

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $27.70 - $38.07 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with marketdata.)
