University of Oklahoma invites applications for a Project Coordinator with the Carl Albert Center to support the Constitutional Foundations Archive. The role oversees metadata creation, data reporting, and supervision of student workers on a two-year NEH-funded project.
The ideal candidate will hold an MLS or related advanced degree and have experience with archival workflows, digital objects, and public access tools such as ArchivesSpace and Omeka.
Pay Range:Targeted salary up to $24.54 per hour, based on experience

Position Introduction:
Join the Carl Albert Center at the University of Oklahoma as the Project Coordinator for a two-year project funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. The project, Constitutional Foundations Archive, will digitize and make available over 30,000 previously inaccessible documents, photographs, personal papers, and audio files that illustrate the establishment and expansion of federal institutions, state constitutional development, and the evolution of congressional representation in America. Our project will focus on Oklahoma Statehood, the Oklahoma Constitution, attempts to amend the U.S. Constitution and important legislation.
This position will implement the work plan created by the PI and Co-PI, supervise undergraduate hourly and graduate student workers, coordinate activities related to the project, establish, and maintain on-going reporting process. The ideal candidate will have a masters degree in library or archives science and have experience implementing large archival projects.
