Industrial Pipe & Valve, Inc. is expanding its Projects team in the Phoenix/Mesa area. The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager by entering and tracking orders, assembling submittal packages, and coordinating deliveries to ensure on-time shipments.

This entry-point role offers hands-on exposure to PVF products, with training provided. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in coordination or customer service, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel/Outlook.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a coordinator, inside sales, purchasing or customer service role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep many orders straight at once.
• Proficient with Excel and Outlook; ERP experience is a plus.
• Clear, friendly communicator on the phone and by email.
• Willing to learn pipe, valve and fitting products on the job.

Responsibilities

• Enter quotes, sales orders and purchase orders for project jobs in our ERP system (Infor CSD).
• Assemble submittal packages: cut sheets, data sheets and material certs (MTRs).
• Track open POs, confirm ship dates with vendors and follow up on late or back-ordered items.
• Keep job logs, release schedules and order status reports up to date.
• Schedule deliveries and will-calls with the warehouse and customers, and check paperwork against what ships.
• Organize job files and pull together closeout documents at the end of each job.
• Answer customer calls and emails about order status and escalates bigger issues to the Project Manager.

Industrial Pipe and Valve is a pipe, valve and fittings (PVF) distributor headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, with branches in Longview, WA, Nampa, ID, Phoenix, AZ and Mesa, AZ. We supply valves, valve automation, instrumentation, pipe, fittings and flanges, strut, hangers, bolts and bolt kits, and gaskets to mechanical contractors and industrial customers, including Intel-grade bolt kits for semiconductor work. In-house we cut pipe, strut and all-thread to length, thread and roll-groove pipe, and powder-coat strut and fittings, with same-day or next-day delivery on stock items. Our motto is simple: customer satisfaction matters, because it's all about the service.

We're growing our Projects team to support larger jobs from bid to closeout.

The role

The Project Coordinator keeps our project jobs organized behind the scenes. You'll support the Project Manager by entering and tracking orders, building submittal packages, following up with vendors and making sure every delivery goes out complete and on time. It's a great entry point into the PVF industry, and we'll teach you the products.

• Strong attention to detail and comfort keeping many orders straight at once.
• Good with Excel, Outlook and data entry; ERP experience is a plus.
• Clear, friendly communicator on the phone and by email.
• Willing to learn pipe, valve and fitting products on the job.
• Must have strong communication skills with phone, email, and in-person

Preferred

• PVF, plumbing, HVAC or industrial supply experience.
• Able to read basic drawings or a bill of materials.
