Altura is actively seeking a Project Coordinator to help drive performance in the built environment through the rigorous and thorough execution of our scope of work across multiple projects. Candidates will support multiple simultaneous project teams in the tracking and execution of tasks and deliverables including support of internal teams, client facing work, and project financials. Qualified candidates should have relevant experience in the construction industry and project management/administration.
This position will be based either in Altura’s Irvine or Oakland offices, and offers a flexible schedule. You will be expected to be in the office a minimum of three days per week and available to be in the office as needed based on team schedules.
Scope & Responsibilities:
- Project Coordinator: Approximately 60% of time
- Tracking of deliverables across multiple clients and projects and alignment of these deliverables to external deadlines
- Drafting and compilation of internal and external reports and deliverables
- Preparation and execution of internal and external status update meetings and correspondence
- Population and configuration of commissioning software (Facility Grid) for use by project teams
- Project Financial Tracking: Approximately 40% of time
- Prepare invoice documentation in partnership with project managers including maintaining invoicing requirements for various clients
- Communicate with clients on accounts receivable status and pursue initial steps to resolve any accounting discrepancies
- Interface with internal accounting staff to support any company wide tracking of project financials
- Supporting in maintaining cashflows with follow up on aging invoices
Required Qualifications:
- Effective working in a collaborative team environment

- Critical thinker and problem-solver
- Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities under deadlines
- 2+ years of experience in the fields of construction management, facilities management, project management and/or other related fields.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in MEP design or construction
- Experience with Salesforce and/or the Kantata (formerly Kimble) professional services platform

Base salaries will be determined by factors such as geographic location, education, skills, experience, and market considerations. For this role the annual base salary range is $75,000-85,000.
