Job summary

SJE, based in Chesterfield, MO, is seeking a Project Coordinator to keep projects organized and on schedule. You will coordinate activities from setup to invoicing, working with engineers, internal teams, and customers to ensure accurate documentation, timely communication, and efficient execution.

You will help maintain schedules, track budgets, and support accurate billing while ensuring adherence to company standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple projects from setup to final invoicing.
• Enter and maintain project data in ERP system (IFS preferred).
• Collaborate with engineering and internal teams to align resources and timelines.
• Review schedules to identify critical paths and potential delays.
• Develop and maintain SOVs and support monthly invoicing.
• Monitor budgets, track performance, and prepare status reports.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Communicate with customers and cross-functional teams to provide updates.

The job:

As our Project Coordinator , you will play a key role in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and moving toward successful completion. You will coordinate project activities from initial setup through final invoicing, working closely with engineers, internal teams, and customers to ensure accurate documentation, timely communication, and efficient execution. You will help maintain project schedules, track budgets, and support accurate billing while ensuring projects meet company standards and established timelines.

The skills, education, and experience you need:

• Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, from initial setup through completion.
• Entering, setting up, and maintaining project information in an ERP system, preferably IFS.
• Collaborating with engineering and internal teams to coordinate project activities, resources, and timelines.
• Reviewing project schedules to identify activity sequences, critical paths, and potential delays.
• Developing and maintaining Schedules of Values (SOV) and supporting accurate monthly project invoicing.
• Monitoring project budgets, tracking performance, and preparing status reports as needed.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Communicating effectively with customers and cross-functional teams to provide project updates and resolve issues.

A bachelors degree in Business, Management, or a technical field is preferred, along with the ability to understand and effectively coordinate engineering-related projects.
