Job summary

SJE in Chesterfield, MO is seeking an Electrical Controls System Engineer to design, develop, and program automation solutions including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, robotics, and process control for manufacturing and industrial applications.

You will interface with customers, collaborate with experienced engineers in a team-based environment, and help deliver reliable, high-quality automation systems. A 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering with 1–2 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (B.S. preferred).
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to design and implement automation solutions.

The job:

As our Electrical Controls System Engineer, you will design, develop, and program automation solutions including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, robotics, and process control systems. You will interface with customers on a technical and personal level and collaborate with experienced engineers in a team-based environment to deliver reliable, high-quality automation solutions for manufacturing and industrial applications.

The skills, education, and experience you need:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement effective automation solutions.
• Experience designing, developing, and programming PLCs and graphical user interfaces for process control systems.
• The ability to create electrical schematics for control panels.

A 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 1-2 years of experience are preferred.
