Description

Ledcor Technical Services has been building and servicing communication networks for customers across North America since 1979. We are looking to fill a Project Coordinator position to support a large-scale fiber-to-the-home deployment project throughout West Virginia. The Project Coordinator will support project teams, assist operations staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, oversee project milestones, coordinate with subcontractors, assist Project Managers, and handle change orders or RFIs as needed.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Promote Ledcor safety culture by actively implementing the Project Specific Safety Program to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain systems and procedures at project start-up, assist with billing setup, and create project directories.
  • Organize project close-out activities, including warranty packages, turnover documents, and site demobilization.
  • Perform document control and recordkeeping, including review/distribution of documentation, submittals, files, logs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Track project milestones and financial deadlines, build schedules, and link them to change orders, claims, and delays.
  • Manage change order processes by securing pricing and administering them.
  • Conduct quantity takeoffs aligned with contract documents.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
  • Understanding of project setup, subcontract management, change orders, RFIs, lien holdbacks, and closeout processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with key contacts verbally, in writing, and electronically.
  • Ability to respond effectively to stakeholder requests, understand client needs, and offer practical assistance.

Working Conditions:

  • This position offers remote work with up to 10% travel to Ledcor offices or sites.
