Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Project Coordinator in Bridgewater, NJ to manage multiple new product development accounts in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, meet client expectations, and maintain strong cross-departmental communication.

The role requires proactive problem-solving, collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, and a commitment to timely responses. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary customer contact for multiple NPD accounts and ensure timely communication.
  • Plan and monitor project progress, deadlines, briefs and timelines.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by responding to requests within 24 hours.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to support project execution and resolve issues.
  • Attend internal and external meetings to provide updates and gather requirements.
  • Meet with manager regularly to review progress and escalate issues with solutions.
  • Provide training and support to assigned Representative and manage time-off requests.

Job description

Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Project Coordinator based in Bridgewater, NJ.

Compensation: 60-70k

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will play a key role in managing multiple new product development (NPD) accounts in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, meeting client expectations, and maintaining strong communication across departments. The role requires proactive problem-solving and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for multiple NPD accounts, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Plan and monitor project progress, setting deadlines and managing briefs, timetables, and interdepartmental communication.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by responding to requests and inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to support project execution and resolve issues.
  • Attend internal and external meetings as necessary to provide updates and gather requirements.
  • Meet regularly with your manager to review project updates, **escalate issues**, and present viable solutions.
  • Manage and support assigned Representative by providing training, reviewing project updates, resolving escalations, and handling time-off requests.
Required Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges.
  • 2+ years of project management experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent computer proficiency and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain customer-focused and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills
  • Experience managing personnel or providing team leadership.
  • Familiarity with NPD processes and timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and client needs.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and software.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
