Job summary

Atrium is seeking a VP of Finance in New York, NY to lead global finance, planning, reporting and accounting for a multi-channel apparel business. You will drive financial integrity, efficiency and cross-functional collaboration to fuel growth. Legal work authorization in the U.S. is required.

You will oversee budgeting, close processes, A/P/A/R/payroll, tax coordination, and tech-enabled improvements, mentoring a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 15 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and operational accounting.
• Proficiency with Netsuite general ledger; experience with Blue Cherry and Shopify preferred.
• Exceptional Excel skills and ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

Position Overview

The VP of Finance will lead all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and operational accounting for a global, multi-channel apparel and fashion business. This role is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, driving process improvements, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency. The VP will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and business growth. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Demonstrated history of career growth and increasing responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Experience in the retail, wholesale, or apparel industry.
• Familiarity with global financial operations and intercompany accounting.
• Proven ability to lead process improvement and implement best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Hands-on leadership style with a focus on team development and strategic thinking.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
• CPA or MBA preferred but not required.
• Continuing education in financial management or leadership development is a plus.
