Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator in Boston, MA to support government-related projects within a dynamic public sector environment.

You will manage project documentation, coordinate meetings, and ensure clear communication across stakeholder groups to drive project success. Responsibilities include attending meetings, capturing accurate notes, tracking action items and decisions, and maintaining centralized documentation.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of project coordination/PMO experience.
  • Local to Boston, willing to work onsite 3 days/week (Tue-Wed-Thu).
  • Strong typing and meeting-notes documentation skills.
  • Experience documenting meeting notes, action items, decisions, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings, prepare thorough and accurate meeting notes, and track actions and decisions.
  • Maintain centralized project documentation (action item trackers, decision logs, follow-up communications).
  • Review and quality check project documentation for accuracy, completeness and alignment with standards.
  • Proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, and unclear ownership in project artifacts and coordinate with team members to resolve issues.
  • Assist with project reporting, document control, and PMO governance to ensure smooth project execution.

IDR is seeking a Project Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Boston, MA. This role involves supporting government-related projects within a dynamic public sector environment. The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in managing project documentation, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective communication across stakeholder groups.
Position Overview for the Project Coordinator:
  • Support project teams by attending meetings, preparing thorough and accurate meeting notes, and tracking action items and decisions.
  • Maintain centralized project documentation, including action item trackers, decision logs, and follow-up communications.
  • Review and quality check project documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with standards.
  • Proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, and unclear ownership in project artifacts and coordinate with team members to resolve issues.
  • Assist with project reporting, document control, and PMO governance to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements for the Project Coordinator:
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in project coordination, PMO, quality assurance, or a related role.
  • Must be local to Boston, MA and willing to work onsite 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • Strong typing skills with the ability to capture detailed information accurately and efficiently during meetings.
  • Demonstrated experience documenting meeting notes, action items, decisions, risks, issues, and dependencies.
