Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions in Monroe, NC is seeking a Project Specialist to support installation scheduling, billing, and field coordination. You will process billing transactions, schedule technicians, and coordinate planning with Installation Managers, Technicians, and operations to ensure accurate invoicing.

The role requires strong billing knowledge, an associate degree or equivalent, solid MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general billing procedures and processes.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Dispatch experience is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word/Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Team player who can work independently when needed.
• Ability to handle overtime during busy periods.
• Willingness to coach peers and analyze customer service data.

Responsibilities

• Process all billing transactions related to new equipment.
• Coordinate field planning and scheduling with technicians.
• Schedule technicians for installation jobsites.
• Address customer questions during schedule confirmations.
• Collaborate with outside operations, Installation Managers and Technicians.
• Coordinate with receivables and US branches to ensure accurate billing.
• Create installation calls and update customer information.
• Complete required billing documents and lien releases.
• Perform other administrative tasks as directed by the Manager.
• Support the reporting manager with daily functions.
