Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Mobile, AL seeks an experienced Project Controls Lead to plan and manage heavy industrial projects. You will develop schedules, monitor costs, and coordinate change notices with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in planning, scheduling, cost control, and estimating, with PMI or AACE certification preferred and proficiency in Primavera P6, Timberline, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or MS in Construction Science, Building Science, or related field.
• AACE or PMI certification preferred.
• 15+ years in planning, scheduling, cost control, and estimating.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Timberline Estimating.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule heavy industrial engineering projects.
• Develop schedules for contract packages to forecast activities.
• Monitor costs and prepare cost reports.
• Coordinate change notices and hearings.
• Develop cost estimates for construction projects.
• Lead project controls efforts with clients and contractors.
• Mentor teammates in project controls discipline.
• Ensure constructability and logistics considerations.
