The Boldt Company – Western Operations is seeking a Project Controls Specialist II in San Francisco, CA to partner with project teams and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery aligned with client expectations. The role blends financial analysis, scheduling, forecasting, and performance monitoring to convert data into actionable insights that guide decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Exposure to Lean Construction and IPD methods supports project delivery excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required in the areas of construction management, Project Controls, Business Administration or Engineering. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related construction project controls experience required.
  • In‑depth knowledge of construction project controls experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.

The Project Controls Specialist II serves as a key business partner to project teams, helping ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations. This role combines financial analysis, scheduling, forecasting, and project performance monitoring to provide project leaders with meaningful data that supports informed decision-making throughout the life of a project. Working across multiple phases of construction, the Project Controls Specialist helps establish project budgets, track costs and productivity, analyze trends, forecast outcomes, and identify risks and opportunities before they impact project performance. They play an integral role in supporting project managers and operations leaders by turning complex project data into actionable insights.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $121,000.00-$158,000.00 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
