Job summary

MSTS is seeking a Project Controls Specialist I to support NNSS and ASD projects in North Las Vegas. You will handle cost and schedule planning, develop baselines, and ensure proper work authorizations and EVM compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and strong data analytics, budgeting, and coordination skills. 4/10 work schedule, on-site at Losee Road facility and NNSS, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Math or Business-related field or equivalent training and experience.
• Strong data analytics, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling and problem solving skills.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, word processors, and databases; advanced Excel is preferred.
• Ability to manage large data sets and work in a team environment; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost and schedule support within a centralized Project Controls organization.
• Develop and maintain project baselines and change control processes.
• Support WBS development and work authorizations prior to execution.
• Assist with Primavera P6 scheduling including resource loading and Cobra integration.
• Ensure Earned Value Management process compliance and support project estimates.
• Collaborate with project team and management to resolve issues and deliverables.
