Job summary

P&E Constructors is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to plan, measure, and report the fabrication execution across multiple projects nationwide. The role translates drawings and spool packages into detailed production schedules, tracks earned progress, and identifies schedule and production risks.

Frequent travel is required with per diem and relocation support as needed. The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years in project planning within industrial fabrication, and be proficient in

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls within industrial fabrication, construction, or a related environment.
• Experience developing and maintaining detailed fabrication or construction schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fabrication master schedules by job, system, and spool package, working backward from field need dates and required-on-site (ROS) dates.
• Level shop loading across welding stations, fit-up tables, coating/testing bays, and other fabrication work centers.
• Publish weekly earned value reporting, including percent complete, earned versus actual hours, and SPI/CPI by job.
