POSITIONSUMMARY:

The Project Controls Manager 2 is responsiblefor the general administration of all Manhattan project controls practices andpolicies within their region. In this role, the Project Controls Manager isresponsible for assisting in the maintenance of the operating platform forManhattan and ensuring all regional projects embrace and incorporate new andexisting operational guidelines into everyday performance. This positionrequires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership,organizational, and time management skills, as well as strong communication andcustomer service skills.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Onboarding and training of regional operations personnel regarding systems, Manhattan Guiding Principles
  • Operational Support to regional Project Directors and ProjectTeams
  • Monitor and take action on Key Performance Indicators in varioussystems
  • Assists in the development of project execution plans within theirregion
  • Shows ability to champion at least one PM system company-wide withregard to creating and updating national training materials and ensuringconsistency across regions
  • Works with teams to ensure compliance with PSR processes andstandards
  • Ability to lead project controls efforts on mid-size projects orlarger
  • Exhibits understanding of Project Management duties and generalconstruction knowledge
  • Assists teams in managing standards for general conditions, cashflow tracking, and schedule standards
  • Job Cost Budget Review and Approvals within the region
  • Assists with Project Performance Review process within theregion
  • Works with Project Accountants and Project Managers to create andmonitor billing forecasts and change management
  • Ability to analyze, identify, and resolve issues with various PMSystems
  • Responsible for conducting themselves in accordance with ourGuiding Principles and exhibiting attributes matching the Way We Work.
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree- Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Math or equivalent
  • 12 years ofindustry experience

WORKINGCONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS:

  • Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day.
  • Ability to repeat the same movements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to participate fully in meetings, video conferences, and phone calls.
  • Use hands to type, handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or control.
  • Occasionally lift, pull, or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional travel will be required, primarily in the metropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a valid Driver’s License).
