Hitachi Energy in North Carolina seeks a Project Controls Lead to bridge engineering and project stakeholders, overseeing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk across FACTS, SCADA, and power systems projects in a hybrid Cary/Raleigh setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
4–7 years of experience in industrial control systems, SAS, or related power technologies.
Experience leading projects, managing priorities, and coordinating schedules.
Knowledge of HMI, SCADA, industrial communications, and networked control systems.

Responsibilities

Lead detailed project planning, schedule development, scope reviews, and budget forecasting for controls-related projects.
Coordinate across engineering disciplines to resolve technical challenges and drive project execution.
Manage project risks, opportunities, and change requests throughout the lifecycle.
Monitor project performance and drive key metrics like on-time delivery and quality.
Verify HMI and SCADA applications for FACTS and power electronics projects.
Support communication network implementation, documentation, testing, and commissioning.
Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, and project reviews.
Influence project outcomes by enabling collaboration between technical experts, customers, and stakeholders.
