The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead to take ownership of project controls, scheduling, and delivery planning across a rapidly expanding portfolio of large-scale, mission-critical data center developments.

This is a senior-level opportunity supporting multiple concurrent, GW-scale data center builds, integrating design, procurement, permitting, construction, and commissioning activities into comprehensive project and program schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional Project Controls and Scheduling teams, establishing priorities, standards, and performance expectations.
• Own and oversee master schedules, baseline schedules, preconstruction schedules, schedule updates, and project controls processes across multiple projects.
• Integrate design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover schedules into an enterprise-level delivery roadmap.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule forecasting, risk identification, and scenario planning to maintain aggressive project delivery targets.
• Manage and support change orders, claims, delay analyses, productivity analyses, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure consistent project controls procedures across cost, schedule, forecasting, risk, and executive reporting.
• Partner closely with Construction, Operations, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other stakeholders on project risks and recovery strategies.
• Conduct contract reviews to identify schedule requirements, risks, milestones, notification requirements, and potential exposure.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, project reporting, and portfolio-level performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Estimating, VDC, Safety, Quality, and Construction teams to ensure project controls are fully integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop project controls procedures, tools, and training programs while mentoring and developing scheduling and controls professionals.
• Support bid strategy, project planning, resource allocation, and Go/No-Go decision-making.

Experience Required

• 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 7 years within Project Controls and/or Scheduling.
• Strong background delivering large-scale, technically complex construction projects; data center, mission-critical, advanced technology, semiconductor, industrial, or major infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of CPM scheduling, critical path analysis, schedule development, forecasting, and risk management.
• Significant experience with schedule and productivity claims, delay analysis, change management, and contract administration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project controls teams and implement standardized procedures across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, procurement, design coordination, commissioning, and project delivery.
• Experience with cost systems, forecasting, budgeting, productivity tracking, and project risk evaluation.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; familiarity with VDC/BIM tools is advantageous.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• Ability to travel regionally as required.
