Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Controls Intern for our Miramar, FL client site office. You will support data analysis and reporting for a large K-12 capital program while assisting the scheduler with monthly updates in Oracle P6.

You will collaborate with the Project Controls Analyst using Trimble Unity Construct and assist a cost estimator on quantity takeoffs for school renovation designs. This internship targets students in related technical fields with ABET‑accredited programs.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required if enrolled in related degree program.
• Education: 60 hours towards degree from ABET-accredited program by Summer 2027.
• Special skills: detail-oriented, organized, proactive with team.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join our Miramar, FL client site office.

Your Role

• Data analysis and reporting for large K-12 School District Capital Program
• Assist Scheduler with monthly project schedule updates in Oracle P6
• Work with Project Controls Analyst in Trimble Unity Construct (project management software)
• Work with cost estimator on quantity takeoffs for school renovation designs.

About You

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a Construction management or Civil, Structural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Attention to detail and organized. Ability to work well with entire team and be proactive.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
