Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Controls Intern for our Miramar, FL client site to support a large K-12 School District Capital Program. You will perform data analysis and reporting, and assist with monthly project schedule updates in Oracle P6.

You will collaborate with the Project Controls Analyst using Trimble Unity Construct and assist the cost estimator with quantity takeoffs for renovation designs. The internship emphasizes hands-on learning with mentorship within a structured

• 60 hours towards Construction Management or Civil/Structural Eng ABET-accredited program by start of internship.
• No prior experience required if enrolled in a related Bachelor's degree program.
• Attention to detail and being organized are essential; proactive attitude needed.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join our Miramar, FL client site office.

Your Role

Data analysis and reporting for large K-12 School District Capital Program

Assist Scheduler with monthly project schedule updates in Oracle P6

Work with Project Controls Analyst in Trimble Unity Construct (project management software)

Work with cost estimator on quantity takeoffs for school renovation designs.

About You

EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.

EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a Construction management or Civil, Structural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship ( Spring 2027 ).

SPECIAL SKILLS: Attention to detail and organized. Ability to work well with entire team and be proactive.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
