Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join our Miramar, FL client site office. You will analyze data, support schedule updates in Oracle P6, and collaborate on project controls tasks with the Trimble Unity Construct platform and a cost estimator.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an ABET‑accredited degree with 60 hours completed, showing attention to detail, organization, and teamwork. This entry‑level internship offers mentorship, training, and industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Completion of 60 hours toward ABET-accredited Construction management or Civil/Structural Engineering degree by Spring 2027.
• Currently pursuing a related technical degree with sufficient progress toward degree requirements.
• Attention to detail, organized, proactive and able to work with the team.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and reporting for a large K-12 school district capital program.
• Assist Scheduler with monthly project schedule updates in Oracle P6.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join our Miramar, FL client site office.

Your Role

• Data analysis and reporting for large K-12 School District Capital Program
• Assist Scheduler with monthly project schedule updates in Oracle P6
• Work with Project Controls Analyst in Trimble Unity Construct (project management software)
• Work with cost estimator on quantity takeoffs for school renovation designs.

About You

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a Construction management or Civil, Structural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Spring 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Attention to detail and organized. Ability to work well with entire team and be proactive.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
