Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join our Miramar, FL client site office. The role includes data analysis and reporting for a large K-12 School District Capital Program, offering hands-on exposure to project controls in a real project setting.

You will assist with monthly schedule updates in Oracle P6, work with Trimble Unity Construct, and collaborate with a cost estimator on quantity takeoffs for renovation designs.

Qualifications

• No experience required for students in a related degree program.
• Must have completed 60 hours toward Construction management or Civil/Structural Eng degree by Summer 2027.
• ABET-accredited program completion by internship start is required.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join our Miramar, FL client site office.

Your Role

• Data analysis and reporting for large K-12 School District Capital Program
• Assist Scheduler with monthly project schedule updates in Oracle P6
• Work with Project Controls Analyst in Trimble Unity Construct (project management software)
• Work with cost estimator on quantity takeoffs for school renovation designs.

About You

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a Construction management or Civil, Structural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Attention to detail and organized. Ability to work well with entire team and be proactive.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
