Job summary

Emerson’s Process Systems and Solutions team in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Project Controls Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain real-world experience by collaborating with project control leads through all project stages, from initiation to closing.

You’ll learn to apply analytics tools and Power BI to track health metrics, report insights, and support scheduling and forecasting activities. Ideal candidates are enrolled in relevant degrees and authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university.
• Pursuing a degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, Administration, Management or Finance.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Use analytics tools to provide insight into the health of projects.
• Use Power BI dashboards to analyze key project metrics.
• Report to Project Managers and leadership on insights and opportunities.
• Support Project Team in project scope and delivery.
• Use scheduling and forecasting tools to control projects.
• Assist in initiation, monitoring and controlling of all project aspects.
