Job summary

Global Edge Group in Riverside, California is hiring a Project Controls Engineer to support funding, budgeting, and reporting for transportation projects. You will work under the Project Controls Supervisor to monitor funding, budgets, and schedule status, and prepare reports for federal, state, and local agencies.

The role includes cost estimating, invoice review, ICE coordination, and data analysis to inform client decisions and improve project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; six years of Project Controls or cost-related experience, or ten years in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including intermediate to advanced Excel and SharePoint, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Client contracts and processing payments related to transportation projects.
• Review monthly invoices for professional services and contractor work, including processing reimbursement requests and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate bi-weekly project reviews with Client Project Managers and Bechtel Project Coordinators to assess Client Capital projects.
