Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead change management, cost control, and reporting across highway and bridge projects in the US. You will partner with designers, contractors, inspectors and clients to ensure schedules and budgets stay on track.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in project controls on engineering/construction projects, strong leadership, and excellence in communication. This role offers full-time employment and a path to impact across diverse transportation programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in project controls on engineering/construction projects.
• Ability to manage proposal preparation, contract review and negotiation for large EPC projects.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce project controls practices and procedures for change and records management.
• Partner with designers, contractors, inspectors and clients to identify and resolve variances in scope and pricing.
• Develop and monitor KPIs; report to project staff and clients.
• Set up and lead coordination meetings across business groups; develop schedules and cost controls.
