Job summary

Actalent is a national engineering and construction consulting firm focused on supporting major capital projects across power, infrastructure, and industrial markets. This role sits in Midtown Atlanta with a hybrid schedule (Mon-Thu onsite, Fridays remote).

You will work with Project Managers, Cost Engineers, Schedulers, Estimators, and Construction Leaders to drive financial performance from planning through execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Cost Management, or Construction Finance experience.
• Experience supporting construction projects ranging from $200K to $1M+.
• Strong Excel skills with VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and reporting.
• Experience with Procore and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Analyze project performance, cost drivers, and variances.
• Support capital planning and budget development for project portfolios.
• Prepare executive-level financial reports, presentations, and dashboards.
• Help construction teams make informed decisions through data-driven analysis.

Job Type & Location

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $72.16/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
