Job summary

Spire Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Consultant to support proactive project controls engagements for owners, contractors, and subcontractors across multiple AEC sectors. You will develop CPM schedules, manage costs, and perform risk analyses through the project lifecycle, contributing to client engagements and internal initiatives.

The role emphasizes strong analysis, effective communication, and adherence to QA/QC standards, with opportunities to grow through SOP development and industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required or equivalent.
• Master's degree a plus.
• 3–5 years in project controls, scheduling, cost estimating, or construction preferred.
• Familiarity with CPM scheduling, earned value, and cost estimating a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as PSP, CCP, PMP, PE, or CCE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop CPM schedules and review baselines for quality and risk.
• Review contracts, specs and drawings to confirm baselines.
• Identify relationships, constraints, milestones and sequence of work.
• Review critical path, cost loading, schedule content and forecasted work.
• Perform schedule risk analyses and QA/QC reviews of submissions.
• Create SOPs, templates and improve company standards and processes.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
