Job summary

Spire Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Consultant to support proactive project controls engagements for owners, contractors, and subcontractors across multiple AEC sectors. You will help with schedule development, cost management, and risk analysis throughout the project lifecycle, applying a strong foundation in time, cost, and risk control.

The role involves QA/QC of schedule submissions, preparing client and internal reports, and contributing to SOPs and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline is a plus
• 3–5 years in project controls, scheduling, cost estimating, engineering, or construction preferred
• CPM scheduling, earned value management, and cost estimating familiarity is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; professional certifications (PSP/CCP/PMP/PE/CCE) preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Develop CPM schedules and review baselines for completeness, constructability, and risk
• Review contracts, specs and drawings to confirm design and schedule baselines
• Identify relationships, constraints, milestones and optimal work sequence in schedules
• Perform schedule risk analyses and impact for change orders
• Create SOPs and templates; contribute to company standards and processes
