M.C. Dean in Tysons, VA is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring correct predecessors and successors while coordinating procurement and submittals. You will work with project teams to guarantee timelines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.

Responsibilities include baselining, tracking costs and earned value, updating change orders, and forecasting needs. Proficiency with Primavera P6, PM Online, and AS400 CMMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0+ years of experience with scheduling or project planning.
• Familiarity with PM Online, AS400 CMMS, and Primavera P6 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes the creation and updating of project schedules with correct predecessors and successors.
• Deconstructs project scope into discrete activities with duration constraints.
• Implements procurement, submittals, reviews, and material delivery timelines in the schedule.
• Analyzes quantity take-offs to ensure items are accounted for in the schedule.
• Forecasts material, equipment, and labor needs via resource loading.
• Tracks costs, schedule, and earned value to report status.
• Inputs pending and approved change orders into the schedule.
• Designs schedules frag nets to show submittal impacts on change orders.
• Leads site surveys coordination and helps establish work areas as needed.
• Identifies constructability constraints and reflects them in the schedule.
• Produces baseline vs. actual schedule reports and monthly narratives.
• Maintains CPM network narratives to provide insights and mitigation ideas.
