Job summary

MWH Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support engineering, coordination, and construction of civil and structural packages on a large water infrastructure project in Gresham, Oregon.

The role reports to the Senior PM and focuses on delivering on budget and on schedule per contract documents and standards. Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in project controls or project management within construction, experience with CMiC, and strong budgeting, cost control, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering; equivalent experience considered.
• 5–7 years in a project controls or project manager role in construction.
• Experience with project accounting, scheduling, document management, and audits.
• Proficient with Excel, Word; CMiC experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and adjust cost forecasts, resource needs, and productivity variance data.
• Manage all cost functions of the Project Management Information System.
• Support change management processes and prepare cost documents for client approval.
• Prepare monthly billings and project progress reports.
• Assist with subcontract and purchase agreement management.
• Develop budgets, cash flow projections, and project reports.
• Coordinate with project teams and client on cost-related topics.
• Help establish project controls standards and ensure safety compliance.
