Job summary

Evergy is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support both renewable and conventional generation projects. You will work under the Manager Project Controls to track scope, cost, and schedules, partnering with Development Project Managers and Construction Supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

The role involves forecasting, budgeting, cost reporting, schedule updates, and risk management across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance or related field.
• Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience with project controls, budgeting and scheduling tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and budget projects across renewable and conventional generation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project cost information, tracking budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts and variances.
• Prepare monthly capex and O&M reporting to stakeholders.
• Update schedule progress and manage risk registers for multiple projects.
• Coordinate with Development Engineers and Project Managers to develop cost estimates and analyze variances.
