Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems LLC seeks a detail-oriented Project Controls Analyst to manage project tracking, forecasting, and cost control across a portfolio of projects in Denver. You will work with procurement, accounting, and finance to ensure accurate cost allocations, budgets, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, monitoring PO cost coding, reviewing subcontractor invoices, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 2-5 years of experience in cost controls or financial analysis.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multi task and balance responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
• High level of professionalism.
• Experience in construction, oil & gas, or engineering industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project financial reports adhering to project controls best practices.
• Ensure accuracy of cost allocations and monitor purchase orders for cost coding.
• Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to establish project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Track project actuals & EAC against baseline budgets.
• Monitor progress against milestones and identify potential issues and risks.
• Provide regular status report updates to project managers and stakeholders on project progress, including budget and schedule.
• Maintain organized project documentation.
• Review project and estimate cash flows, contract terms, and change orders in detail for financial impact and opportunities.
• Effectively utilize the right data, reports, and tools for analysis and benchmarking.
