Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Analyst to ensure effective cost management across a portfolio of projects. Reporting to the Project Control Manager, you will focus on tracking, forecasting, performance monitoring, variance analysis, and corrective actions in collaboration with Procurement, Accounting and Finance teams.

A day in the life includes preparing financial reports, ensuring cost allocations, reviewing subcontractor invoices, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of cost controls or financial analysis experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and data analysis.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare project financial reports adhering to project controls best practices.
  • Ensure accuracy of cost allocations and monitor purchase orders for cost coding.
  • Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with project managers to establish budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Track actuals & EAC against baseline budgets.
  • Monitor milestones and identify issues and risks.
  • Provide status updates on progress, including budget and schedule.
  • Maintain organized project documentation.
  • Review cash flows, contract terms, and change orders for financial impact.
  • Use data, reports and tools for analysis and benchmarking.
