Job summary

Crusoe Energy is seeking an experienced Area Project Controls Manager to lead cost and scheduling controls across multiple large-scale construction projects for our AI and energy infrastructure platform.

You will supervise a team of cost and project controls professionals, partner with onsite vendors, and provide senior leadership with data-driven insights on financial and schedule performance for an assigned area or program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Project Controls and Construction Cost Management.
• Experience managing multiple projects with area- or program-level accountability.
• Proven leadership of program- or area-wide initiatives.
• Advanced financial and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills translating data into insights for senior leaders and clients.
• Experience leading teams and managing external vendors.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, large-scale construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide area-level leadership across multiple concurrent construction projects.
• Drive standardization across cost management, scheduling, change management, risk management, and reporting.
• Lead cost management team responsibilities including monthly cost reporting, cash flow forecasting, change and risk management, pay applications, and client billing submissions.
• Assess cost and schedule health across an area or program and identify risks and opportunities early.
• Develop and communicate clear financial and schedule insights to senior leadership and Crusoe clients.
• Manage onsite vendors delivering cost management and scheduling services.
• Support program governance with accurate, timely reporting across all projects.
• Collaborate with construction, engineering, procurement, and leadership teams to ensure successful execution.
