Job summary

New River Electrical Corporation is seeking a qualified Project Controls Analyst to track, analyze, and report project financial data, communicating trends and risks to Project Management and stakeholders. You will value work performed and monitor cost trends and profitability to support informed decisions.

The role liaises with Accounting/Billing and operations, ensuring data capture and analysis are accurate, timely, and clearly communicated. Reports to the Project Controls Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years project controls or construction finance experience; 10 years considered in lieu.
• Strong financial acumen for budgets, costs, forecasts and reporting.
• PMI standards applied to cost control, scheduling and performance management.
• Experience in construction or utility industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between Accounting and Operations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Maintain baseline schedule and budget details (estimate, WBS) with Project teams.
• Input project details in ERP and ensure correct contract values and dates.
• Manage change orders and update budgets and ERP accordingly.
• Analyze project financial data to identify trends and risks and report to stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly KPIs and support customer billing projections.
