Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Excel including formulas, sorting, filtering, and PivotTables.

First Coast Security Solutions is seeking Project Control Analyst to support the financial and administrative management of assigned contracts. This position tracks budgets, labor, costs, funding, billing, and reports, and works with Operations, Finance, and contract leadership to keep information accurate and bring potential issues forward. WinTeam is used to maintain and review contract information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contract and job information in WinTeam, including budgets, labor, billing, funding, and other assigned financial details.
• Monitor labor hours, costs, expenses, funding, and billing against the contract budget; identify and bring variances or concerns to the appropriate manager.
• Review time, attendance, expense, and job cost information for accuracy and follow up on missing or incorrect entries.
• Prepare and update reports on contract costs, labor, staffing, billing, budget status, and other project control information.
• Assist with invoice preparation and review, billing support, funding updates, corrections, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and contract managers to confirm information, answer questions, and support financial planning for assigned contracts.
• Maintain organized records and supporting documentation for reports, invoices, budget updates, and other contract activity.
• Manage other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in project controls, financial analysis, accounting, contract administration, or a related area.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience reviewing financial information, identifying discrepancies, and preparing accurate reports.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting and filtering data, and PivotTables.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, written and verbal communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work with information that must be handled carefully.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting government contracts or contracts with multiple locations or work sites.
• Experience with WinTeam or a similar payroll, timekeeping, or financial management system.
• Experience working with contract budgets, labor costs, invoices, funding, or monthly reports.

Working Conditions

• Primarily office-based work.
• Prolonged sitting at a desk and regular use of a computer, spreadsheets, and telephone.
• Regular communication with Finance, Operations, contract managers, and staff supporting assigned locations.
