Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or closely related field.
• Deltek Costpoint experience preferred.
• FAR/Government GAAP knowledge preferred.
• Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects and ensure invoices align with contract requirements.
• Submit monthly invoices to customers and track AR.
• Analyze budget vs. actual, funding levels, estimates to complete, and staffing.
• Review contract funding levels and compliance with limits of funds.
• Assist with pricing opportunities and review travel costs per the JTR.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Project Control Analyst will support the management and administration of multiple contracts supporting the government.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for project setups
• Ensure invoices are billed in accordance with contract requirements
• Submission of monthly invoice to customers
• Track and resolve outstanding Accounts Receivables
• Analyze, understand and report on unbilled balances when needed
• Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all assigned project related financial information.
• Review of contract funding levels for contract-required limitation of funds notifications
• Project analysis to include budget vs actual, funding requirements, estimates to complete and staffing levels
• Assist with pricing existing and new opportunities.
• Review travel expense reports verifying the expenses are in accordance with the JTR
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or directly related experience
• Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint preferred
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (GAR) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred
• Must be detail oriented and able to work within specified deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel and Word
• Strong written and verbal communications, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requirements.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear ability to take ownership of issues and pursue potential resolutions through to completion.
• Able to work both independently and in a team environment
