Haley & Aldrich seeks a Project Chemist/Data Validator to support site assessment and remediation projects across the US. You will validate soil, water, and air lab results under guidance from senior environmental chemists, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

You’ll join a nationwide team in a full-time role with opportunities for remote work based on experience and location, with offices in Portland, OR or Seattle, WA. Strong writing and collaboration are essential to success.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry required; strong academic/work experience in chemistry preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of lab experience performing EPA methods.
• 1–2 years of EPA data validation experience.
• Experience with environmental data management (EQuIS) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Federal/state environmental regulations.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform project support and data validation under senior staff.
• Ensure compliance with QA requirements.
• Write or review QA Project Plans.
• Provide guidance on data management and QA to scientists.
• Collaborate with teams across US offices.
• Understand project requirements and client needs.
• Lead portions of technical work from scoping to deliverables.
• Demonstrate foundational safety behaviors.
