Job summary

Bergmeyer is seeking a driven Architect/Job Captain in the Boston area to guide design development through Construction Administration. Travel is required and the role is expected to be performed from the office 3+ days per week in alignment with Bergmeyer’s Flexible Work Policy.

Ideal candidates hold a Professional Degree in Architecture with at least 3 years of design office experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Professional Degree in Architecture with licensure trajectory preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent design office experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate ideas quickly with strong technical backing.

Responsibilities

• Graphically communicate ideas with strong construction knowledge and detailing.
• Engage in full design process from conceptual design through Construction Administration.
• Participate in construction administration, bids, site visits, and quality control.
• Prepare design development and construction documents with project teams and consultants.
