Job summary

Felix Construction is seeking a highly organized Project Assistant to support our Industrial Controls team in Phoenix. This role focuses on coordinating multiple tasks, documenting project details, and aiding execution across fabrication staff, vendors, and field teams.

As you grow in the role, you’ll gain exposure to project management, procurement support, and material tracking, while contributing to on-time delivery and quality control within a 100% employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-related documentation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial services, or project coordination experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Project Administration & Coordination: Prepare RFIs, POs, Subcontracts, and Purchase Agreements; track documents; assemble submittals and manuals; maintain project records.
• Material & Delivery Support: Coordinate with fabrication/warehouse to verify materials; inspect deliveries; track inventory.
• Team & Project Support: Manage priorities; maintain a safe work environment; provide additional project support as needed.
• Growth Opportunities: Attend project/client meetings; conduct job site visits; take notes and assist follow-up coordination; deliver materials to project sites.
