Job summary

Felix Construction Company in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Industrial Controls Project Executive to own people, performance, and P&L health of the Industrial Controls Group's project portfolio. You will drive design, UL508A panel fabrication, FAT/SAT, and field integration to deliver world-class control systems safely, on schedule, and with strong margins.

Reporting to the Director of Industrial Automation, this onsite leadership role collaborates with end-users, engineers, and fabrication teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in industrial electrical controls, automation, UL508A panel shop, or manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of electrical drawings, control schematics, engineering specifications, and UL508A fabrication process.
• Demonstrated P&L or budget accountability with a track record of on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to lead teams to shared objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead across the full project lifecycle: proposal support, design release, panel fabrication, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and warranty.
• Manage, supervise, and develop department personnel; build a productive, accountable work environment.
• Own monthly project reviews, earned-value tracking, and margin forecasting for the portfolio.
• Interface with clients to resolve issues; serve as escalation point and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure UL508A compliance, safety guidelines, and drive continuous improvement in processes.
